There is no shortage of lawyers or law firms that can help you. The truth is there are many good lawyers. I can provide competent legal work for you efficiently and at a reasonable cost.

Estate planning is a very sensitive and personal subject. I have prepared estate plans for hundreds of clients and I can explain the process in straightforward terms. Setting up an estate plan gives you the power to control the distribution of your assets and can save your loved ones time and money. What you tell me is confidential and private.

Will my Will Contest case go to trial?
While a very small percentage of cases will ever go to trial, every case must be prepared as if a judge will be deciding if the will is valid and enforceable. The client will always have the final decision whether to settle a case.

How much will hiring a law firm cost me?
Many of the estate plans that we prepare can be done on a flat fee that is agreed upon before we start to work on your behalf. A basic estate plan will cost substantially less than the cost of probating your estate.

Probate is much more expensive than setting up a trust but probate fees are established by state law and must be approved by a judge.

Why is it important to have a budget?
It is important to keep in mind how much you can afford to pay for legal services but it is also important to keep in mind how much it will cost you if you do not have an attorney. I have helped hundreds of Californians set up revocable trusts and other estate planning documents for since the 1960s. I know how to get the job done at a fair price.
